The Works Art & Design Festival is now accepting applications for the Work to Work Summer Internship Program. This full-time paid internship runs 30–40 hours per week from May to August 2026 and offers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and real work in festival and exhibit production, marketing and communications, graphic design, curatorial work, and volunteer coordination, all while helping deliver one of Canada’s most exciting art and design festivals. Deadline to apply is March 13, 11:59 pm.

ARCHIVE ASSISTANT

Alberta Printmakers (A/P) is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is community-minded, has a keen interest in public gallery practices, and possesses a passion for printmaking as a contemporary artform.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity that is contingent on funding approval through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Term of employment:     July 7, 2025 – August 29, 2025; Full-Time Temporary Contract

This exciting opportunity is open to visual artists who are in the early stages of their arts careers. Four to six apprenticeship opportunities will be awarded to emerging artists.

The City of Calgary Public Art Program invites members of the Blackfoot Confederacy to apply for this curatorial opportunity. Individuals with curatorial experience are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is open to Blackfoot/Blackfeet curators. Individual artists or artist teams/collectives are eligible. 

The City of Calgary Public Art Program invites members of the Tsuut’ina First Nation to apply for this paid curatorial mentorship opportunity. Individual artists who are interested in curation are encouraged to apply. Prior curatorial experience is not required. This opportunity is open to Tsuut’ina nation members.
